Venue and Timings

This will be an all-day event on Saturday 8th September. The exact venue will be advised in due course.

Event Format and Rules

This is an Open event and regions are therefore invited to submit names of all members who want to participate by no later than 30th March 2018. However we do have a maximum number who can participate. In the event that we have more names than places available, a random draw will take place.
This is designed as a fun event which is open to experienced artists, those at an intermediate stage, as well as those looking to try something different.
You will be representing your region in competing for the David Elgar Trophy, as well as individual prizes, but the emphasis will be on enjoyment. Keenness and enthusiasm are as much a requirement as your particular skill level.

A full set of rules will be issued to all competitors prior to the event.

Kit and Equipment

Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear should be worn. Drawing boards, easels and paper will be provided, but please bring your own materials. You may use any medium; pastels, watercolour, acrylics, pencil, etc.

Lunch will be provided and refreshments will be available to purchase.
