HASSRA MATCH V EAST MIDLANDS 28/09/22

Our annual HASSRA Y&H team event against HASSRA East Midlands was played 28/09/22, playing at the fantastic Worksop GC.

The team was picked from the players who have played in 3 or more events through 2022, picking their best 3 scores.

A team of 10 players were assembled (after some movements due to non-availability) that were regaled & proud to be wearing & representing the Y&H orange.  The 5 teams of 2 were chosen & given their start on the list. 

They were:-

Jonny Evans & John Woods

Dave Barnes & Phil Corbett

Nick Dunphy & Rob O’Doherty

Rod Meggatt & Neil Farmery

Rich Wood & Mike Huzzard.

A fantastic day was had on a fantastic, but tough course.

The East Midlands turned up with a competitive team, but Y&H came out with a fantastic win, winning 4 points to 1 & taking the trophy home.

Thanks to HASSRA East Midlands, all the players who have played in the Y&H golf society through 2022, & to the 10 players who represented the orange brilliantly.
