An afternoon photographing Red Squirrels and other wildlife in their natural environment at a location near Penrith / Junc 39 M6 Motorway.

The event will include a session afterwards where advice and guidance will be given on how to edit your images in programs such as Lightroom and Photoshop, so please feel free to bring a laptop or tablet to down load your images and edit them in this session. The event will also include Tea/Coffee and a finger buffet lunch.

Timings will be confirmed nearer the date but will be between approx 10:00am and 5:00pm

The details of the exact location will be issued in the days before the event, and you will need to arrange your own travel to and from the venue and this will be at your own cost. The location is secluded with no public transport access. (The closest public transport will get you is around a 15 minute walk away and we are not sure of the availability of this at the weekend)

We are keeping group numbers down so as not to overwhelm these timid creatures, there are a couple of separate locations at the spot so we can split into smaller groups when there.

Camera equipment will need to be provided by yourself, but a minimum we would suggest would be a DSLR/Mirrorless with a telephoto zoom. Or a Zoom Bridge Camera.

The normal cost of this event would be £32.50. But HASSRA North West Members can benefit from a subsidized price of just £15.00 per person. The event is open to HASSRA Members only, no guests initially. If all spaces are not filled the remaining may be opened to guests at an additional cost.
