Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for the financial management of the club. The role involves the following tasks:

• Maintain up-to-date accounts using the HASSRA Finance spreadsheet showing all Income and Expenditure and supported by documentary evidence.
• Inform committee of any financial discrepancies identified.
• Provide financial transactions of the club to designated auditors as required.
• Upload a copy of the audited and approved Accounts to HASSRA Live

Who should be the Treasurer?

For Office Clubs, the Treasurer must be a full HASSRA member who is currently employed by DWP or another sponsoring Department.

For Single Activity Clubs, the Treasurer does not need to be currently employed by DWP or a sponsoring Department; they may instead be a retired member or a member employed by a Departmental Contractor.
