National Festivals 2024

Send your expressions of interest ASAP to Dave Philp.

Friday 6th – Sunday 8th September 2024.

Expressions of Interest can now be entered for the September Festival: Chess x2 / Craft x2 (Card Making) / Darts Team x 1 person / Fitness Workshop x2 / Table Tennis Male x2 /Table Tennis Female x2 / Walking Football x4 Male and x4 Female.

Qualifiers will be taking place for Flat Green Bowls / Golf / Pool / Snooker (as already advertised).

Qualifiers for Ten Pin Bowling will come from best scores received from Taster Days.

We also need Netball x 10 with all enquiries going to Tracy Poling TRACY.POLING@DWP.GOV.UK

All EOI’s to be sent to dave.philp@dwp.gov.uk apart from the netball as Tracy will collate these.

Chess, Craft, Darts, Fitness Workshop, Flat Green Bowls, Golf, Netball, Pool, Pop Quiz, Snooker, Table Tennis, Tenpin Bowling, Walking Football.

We are still awaiting details for the Walking but anticipate that we will be running Qualifiers / Taster Days in the following events:

Coarse Angling (S/E Angling Society) / Footgolf / GK Quiz / Darts / Flat Green Bowls / Golf (SE Golf Society) / Pool / Pop Quiz / Snooker / Tenpin Bowling
 

At this stage we anticipate that all other events will be filled by expressions of interest and we will be following a National Steer to include as many first time attendees as possible, although all members will be considered.
