Edale - Kinder Low & Jacobs Ladder

HASSRA Y&H Walking Club - Edale & Kinder Low

Saturday 16th September saw the HASSRA Y&H Walking club climbing up to Kinder Low.  I feel it should be called Kinder High as it was a tough ascent up to the top. Scrambling at times up and down very well placed/eroded rocks.

I would like to say that on reaching the top we were greeted by a spectacular view, one I have been lucky enough to experience previously, but on this occasion, it was pretty misty so we could not see much.

However – the climb up was weirdly enjoyed by all – including an honorary furry member called Ted!

After navigating around various rock sculptures and some boggy land, we made it to the top of Jacobs Ladder where we had our lunch, before starting our descent back down to Edale

Everyone on the walk said they would love to do this particular walk again, so watch this space for another on in the near future
