Christmas Evening for Partners

I would say are that staff were very helpful on the evening but there were some areas off limits we weren’t aware of.
It was my first time to the Beamish Museum and the evening at Beamish was lovely. Staff were patient and entertaining. The music was my favourite part as there were multiple musicians around the site.
The were free drinks vouchers provided which were great and much appreciated in the cold weather but I wasn’t sure where I could use these.
Free chips for kids and free use of the rides. This was great and unexpected bonus as we had looked to take the kids on the rides and buy a portion of fish n chips between them and the food was delicious, multiple portions can quickly add up. I’m surprised it wasn’t more clearly advertised.
The map on the evening was useful but being there in the dark. It was hard to tell where I needed to go to enjoy.

All in all a pleasant surprise, full of treats and lights which made it feel very festive, just a couple things could have been clearer going in.

We had a great time, quite a unique experience because compared to all the times we have previously been there, there were so few people in the park milling around enjoying the experience with us, and it meant that there was lots of interactions with Beamish staff. Both adults and the grandkids loved it, learning about dentistry from way back, and the kids marvelling at the magic tricks demonstrated by one of the staff, plus the free trips on the carousel which went down particularly well.

The staff, as always were brilliant and added to a fabulous evening, cannot thank the Beamish staff enough. I would also like to thank Hassra for providing the chance to win the tickets.

There was lots of chat on the car journey home, with everyone going over the little things they had seen, done, or heard, and also, the grotto visit to Santa was fab.
