Bhangra Workshop

Venue and Timings

This will be an all-day workshop event on Saturday 6th September.

It will take place in The Sports and Wellness Hub on the University Campus, a short walk from the HASSRA reception.

Each region is invited to send a maximum of two members to take part in this workshop. 

This setup is designed to provide attendees with an interactive and memorable experience while showcasing the beauty of Bhangra culture.

Participants will learn some basic steps and enjoy the vibrant energy of Bhangra using  jackets, traditional props, and Indian décor including umbrellas, to create a visually engaging and culturally enriching atmosphere, as well as learning the significance of Bhangra at celebrations as well as an overview of Sikhism.
