Flying from Manchester Airport on 7th to 14th September
This year’s overseas trip organised by the Walking Club through Inghams is to Mayrhofen in Austria. The accommodation will be in the Hotel Strass Garni, situated in an excellent location in the centre of the town. It’s close to the main Penkenbahn lift, so walkers can easily get out and explore local trails. The accommodation is on a bed and breakfast basis, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby to provide lunch and evening meals.
Flights will be from Manchester, departing at 12.25 on 7th September returning at 16.25 on the 14th. We will fly to Innsbruck Airport, with a journey time to the hotel of 1 hour 30 minutes. The trip will include two guided walks by local experienced guides. Prices for HASSRA members for the trip are as follows. This includes a HASSRA subsidy of £200, and is dependent on at least 10 people travelling:

Closing date for applications is 28th February 2024. A deposit of £150pp is required (non-refundable once booking is confirmed). Payment of the final balance will be required by 22nd June.

If the trip is over-subscribed priority will be given to those who previously indicated a wish to undertake a foreign trip in 2024, with remaining place being decided by ballot.
