I’ve worked for the department since October 2023, and I am passionate about helping people understand the LGBTQ+ community.

I have been openly gay since I was 15 years old and have had to overcome multiple barriers from discrimination to mental health issues as a result. I volunteered for this position as it’s an area that is near and dear to my heart, and I feel that I could excel in helping both our members & non-members in ensuring everyone is included and respected.

I think I could bring a new, fresh, and positive prospective to the Hassra team while maintaining its key values.
