HASSRA RUNS 2025

HASSRA Yorkshire and the Humber have once again agreed to offer subsidies to our members participating in up to two organised runs in 2025.

We do have limited resources and so we are unable to offer subsidies to individuals for more than two events or for events that are not listed below.  We have tried to include events with a range of dates, distances and covering much of the region.  If you feel there is an additional event within the region that we should consider for 2026 then please contact one of the organisers.

We appreciate that many of you will have already entered events to take advantage of early bird discounts.  Therefore, for the events listed we are offering the subsidies as a cash back after you’ve completed the events.

For the 10ks we will offer a £10 subsidy, for the 10-miler and half marathons £15, and for the full marathons £20.

To claim your subsidy, you will need to do the following:

• Email the lead before the event with your proof of entry and your HASSRA number.  Please note that a photo of a race number is not considered proof of entry
• After the event complete your expenses claim on the HASSRA Live site.  Claims should be made within 1 month of the event and the subsidy amount entered as “Other Expenses”  
• No travel costs will be reimbursed.

As we are offering subsidised entries we would like you to run as “team hassra” and are willing to provide you with a running top for these events – if you do not have a team hassra running top and would like one please email lee.south@dwp.gov.uk to arrange.
