HASSRA Festivals

2025 Festivals

We are beginning the search to find members to represent Fylde at this year’s HASSRA Festivals and compete against, or participate, in activities with members from the other HASSRA regions from across the country.

Held at University of Warwick with it’s state of the art facilities, the Festivals are a fantastic experience and one that every member should try and experience.

An action-packed Saturday will see members  take part in whole range of diverse events and activities, followed by a presentation dinner in the evening, with a chance to dress up and celebrate the successes of the day.

Attendees will receive up to two nights accommodation, travel and meals for FREE!

The July Festival takes place on Friday 4th – Sunday 6th July 2025.

This will include: Archery, Badminton, Coarse Angling, Crown Green Bowls, Drama Workshop, Five a Side Football, Foot Golf, Gym Based Triathlon, GK Quiz, Pictionary, Mixed Rounders, Tennis, Wild Swimming / Paddle Boarding.

The Activity Alliance will be running a Pickleball taster, set up so that both disabled and able-bodied members attending can also try this inclusive sport. 

The September Festival is Friday 5th – Sunday 7th September 2025.

This will include: Bhangra Workshop, Chess, Craft (Jewellery making TBC), Darts, Flat Green Bowls, Golf, Netball, Pool, Sports Quiz, Snooker, Squash, Table Tennis, Tenpin Bowling, Walking Football. 

The Activity Alliance will be running a Boccia taster, set up so that both disabled and able-bodied members attending can also try this inclusive sport.

Some events have weekly practice sessions that members are encouraged to attend if they wish to be considered for selection. Others may require a qualifier dependant on how many people want to take part, if this is the case you will contacted by the Fylde Events Team with the details.
