Members that pay subscriptions from DWP salary

Please note: HASSRA cannot cancel payroll deductions that are in place as these are voluntary deductions.
You would need to request this via SOP or by phone, it's not something that HASSRA can cancel for you.

To cancel your HASSRA membership deductions from your DWP salary you need to complete the following actions:

  • Click on the intranet and search for RMG46 in content (or use this link - Accessible via DWP devices only).
  • Fill in your details on the RMG46 and save the form to your desktop.
  • Go into your SOP account and select Service Request.
  • Fill in the required fields and attach the RMG46 saved on your desktop and submit.
  • Please do not send the form to HASSRA.
  • Members who want to cancel their Membership/­Lottery deductions must have submitted their Service Request on SOP by this deadline: 17:30 7th November 2024, If you miss this cut-off date,  a deduction will be taken from your next DWP Salary.

You can use your HASSRA membership until your next payment is due. Your account will then be disabled. You will receive an e-mail that gives you the chance to reinstate your HASSRA membership. If you choose not to reinstate your membership your account will be deleted after three months. You will retain the right to be a HASSRA member in the future even if you change employer or retire. To restart your membership all you need to do is complete the relevant membership application.
