The event runs from 10:00 - 15:00.

Event details:
• A fun event open to all HASSRA members.
• No experience necessary. Come along and have a go!
• Please arrive on time, 20 minutes before if possible, to enable a prompt start and wear suitable sport clothes and non-marking trainers.
• Tennis rackets can be provided if required. Should you require a tennis racket please contact the organiser by email in advance.
• 2 male and 2 female players will be selected to represent HASSRRA West Midlands at the July HASSRA Festival. Accepting a place in the Festival team is optional, if you are selected but can’t / don’t want to attend then please let the event organiser know and they will offer the place to another player.
• Snacks and bottled water will be provided on the day. If you wish to bring your own food / drink please do.
• Toilets and changing facilities are available inside the venue, along with vending machines.
• Car parking is free.
• The event will consist of: Mens & Ladies Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles (this may change on the day)
• This is an event for all standards, please do not worry about the standard, come along and enjoy the day. Depending on the number of entrants we will organise the tournament ensuring people get a good days tennis and hopefully encourage more members for the next event.
• Please note this an indoor event, so we don’t need to worry about the weather!

Expenses:
• HASSRA West Midlands will reimburse members reasonable travel expenses for this event.
• Expenses must be submitted on HASSRA Live within one calendar month of the event. Expenses submitted after this date will not be approved.
• Where necessary all receipts must be provided. Claims without proof of purchase will be rejected.
• Please ensure your claim is in accordance with the HASSRA West Midlands Regional Finance Policy.

• Enjoy yourself and have fun! It’s all about taking part, winning is a bonus!
• Please ensure your behaviours are in accordance with the HASSRA Code of Conduct.

Attendance:
HASSRA West Midlands members are advised that:
• Should they register and then fail to take part in 2 organised events they will be billed for the cost of the place not used.
• Where members fail to attend 2 events within a rolling 12-month period, without good reason, they will be excluded from attending future HASSRA West Midlands events, including participation in the HASSRA National Festivals.
• Should you be unable to take part in the event you must notify the event organiser or email hassra.westmidlands@dwp.gov.uk.
